‘Street Portraits-Striking Faces’ will be a series of posts in which I will be posting street portraits which I have clicked in past 11 months and intend to click in the coming future.
Since i bought the Olympus OM-D E-M10 I have shot many street portraits of people who were complete strangers to me who willingly agreed when i approached and requested them for their photograph. Some faces had a certain distinctive look which expressed deep underlying emotions. Even though many days have passed since i photographed them, their faces still linger in my mind as if they are standing right in front of me again to get photographed.
Some of the faces I photographed had certain charm which cant be described in words. Some had their eyes full of sadness and anger. Many expressed helplessness, self respect and some faces expressed intense hardships they had gone through in their life time. Many of the strangers I photographed had very assertive attitude and were ready to pose in style.
I am posting below few of the many street portraits I have shot so far as part-1 of ‘Street Portraits-Striking Faces’ series with many parts to follow once every month so stay tuned!
Which face in the pictures posted below you find the most striking and why? And do you remember any striking face you have shot in the past and for some reason it still lingers in your mind? also please free to comment and share your experience in the comments section below and share this article with friends who may find it interesting.
